Our Network Proposition
The Hybrid Model & Why We're Different
Unlike most Affiliate Networks, which operate mainly based on a Passive (or at least an Indirect Action) model, we operate based on a different approach. For us there are very clearly 3 major commission streams available to affiliate marketers and to generate the maximum amount of monthly commission income, affiliates should pursue all 3. So, what are they, and how do they work?
1. Direct Action Commission
This is income deriving from a very explicit and direct action towards the potential end-customer such as a personal email, a telephone call or even a visit to the end-customers office or factory. You are taking the initiative here, you are not waiting for someone to just happen to see your social media post and click on it.
2. Indirect Action Commission
This is the one that most Affiliate Networks push. It's just as important as the first one, BUT in the short-term it will not generate the same level of income. To build up your future passive income Indirect Action is vital so don't ever ignore this, but realistically for those just starting out in affiliate marketing, it's very unlikely to meet next month's living expenses.
3. Passive Commission
Passive income refers to earning money continuously with minimal (or even zero) ongoing effort after the initial setup. It occurs when an affiliate marketer promotes a product or service, and, once the promotional content (like blog posts, videos, or social media links) is created and shared, it continues generating commissions without the need for constant involvement. We have an additional string to this too!

If that time comes our affiliate, WebSmiths, can make you your own personal website.

Traffic analysis shows that many people visiting portals like Network Z (i.e. to look at a particular member's page) often stay on the site and look at several other member pages before leaving.

Terms & Conditions Section
This is a simple text section where you place your own Customer Terms (what you promise, what customers must do, cancellations, refunds, etc.). Keep it plain English, include your legal/trading name & contact details if they are not already in your footer, and add a “Last updated” date.
What you put here is not determined by Network Z as we are only your page host: it is up to you what should go in your Terms & Conditions. However, as we know from experience that many small businesses get stuck with this, we have created a couple of blog posts to help you out: you can find them under Network Admin Posts in the blog.
Please bear in mind that these posts are for guidance only and are generic; if you want a fully robust set of Terms & Conditions entirely bespoke to your particular business then please speak to your usual legal adviser or business consultant - if you don't have one, please ask us and we can refer you to a Network member so you can get the 20% fees discount.
